Southend 2023 Follow-up ‘vision meeting’ announced

At our November Launch event, we announced our plan for a major outreach in the City of Southend on Saturday 16th September 2023. We’d now love to invite church leaders and key Christian influencers back to the Plaza Centre to discuss that vision in more detail. Don’t worry if you were not able to get to the Launch, it’s not too late to get involved. We’d love to see you. If you love Essex, love Jesus – and love Southend – please do join us.

New Love-Essex Equipping School rescheduled for April 2023

We have a mandate to transform the County of Essex by making the Good News of the Gospel known and to see people discipled into the Freedom that Jesus paid for on the cross. This day will equip you to be bold and courageous and step out of your comfort zone. We will offer practical ways in which we can reach the people that we encounter in our day to day lives.

More details along with a running order will be sent nearer the time. Refreshments and a light lunch are included in the £15 ticket price.

New ‘First Contact’ card

Love-Essex has produced a handy A6 card to give away at public events. This super-easy tool gives you all the info you need to contact Love-Essex.

We thank God for Her Majesty’s 70 years of faithful service to our nation and Commonwealth, for her shining example and her deep Christian faith. We join with the rest of our nation, the Commonwealth and the world in remembering her with gratitude to God and pray for our new King, Charles III, as he accedes to the throne.

At her coronation in 1953, the Archbishop of Canterbury asked Her Majesty, “Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel?” We believe she has upheld faithfully that most solemn oath.

We extend our condolences to her family and believe sincerely that she is now at rest with her Maker.
